Yowza!

I felt the earth move under my feet....

And my furniture shake--It felt like being in a row boat--up, down, side to side... It was a dizzying feeling.

Nothing fell (but my floor fan did rattle) no damage--Well here --at way. Hope every one else can report the same--especially those closer to epicenter.

That was a teeny roller.

I know you are excited because you are not used to them, AND you live in a multi-storied building.

I was tremendously shocked that it happened but I guess nothing should surprise us anymore. Glad you are alright. Another friend had the same rolling and shaking but she lives pretty close to you.

Maryland was pretty crazy, too. Apparently the epicenter of this thing was in Virginia - the shocks were felt from NC to Canada and west to Chicago and Toronto! Crazy! I was at the Baltimore Courthouse and felt the building shake and the floor sort of move, but no broken windows and nothing fell. Our daughter who lives in DC felt it even more, since she was probably closer to the epicenter. At first, no one knew what it was - and of course many wondered if it was a bomb or something. thankfully not.
Glad you are ok!

Yeah, it was pretty scary in the Financial District. Eesh.

Most everyone I know in Virginia (the state) is fine, and had minimal damage.
