Not quite a polymath, but way more commited than a dilettant, I am one of those people who has failed at specialization.
Currently, I am engaged in pattern writing—specifically for knittng, but I also blog and maintain a web page, make videos, and... the list goes on.
I am occasionally achronisitc, but more often, I am slightly ahead of the curve (for my age cohort) –most often I am 2 standard deviations from the norm!
NYC born and bred, I can't imagine living any where else.

YOU need to write a book so I can come to your book signing. I agree that Yarn H. is a good writer but I'd pay more to pick your brain for the knowledge there.
