The double knit hat done.. with the Ruffle Scarf (Amanda Brown, featured in Scarf Style) .On,

off,

and inside out! Mostly knitting, but needle work of all sorts, and cooking, recipes, and language will find their way in, too.
Not quite a polymath, but way more commited than a dilettant, I am one of those people who has failed at specialization.
Currently, I am engaged in pattern writing—specifically for knittng, but I also blog and maintain a web page, make videos, and... the list goes on.
I am occasionally achronisitc, but more often, I am slightly ahead of the curve (for my age cohort) –most often I am 2 standard deviations from the norm!
NYC born and bred, I can't imagine living any where else.

Great colors...haven't tried double knitting to any great extent. Must put that on my list of things to do this year!
I'm having hat envy--this series of hats is very inspiring.
Very cool!! Love the colors too. I think I need a hat like that.
you make double knitting look so good! Not too bulky? My fear about double knitting, esp for a hat, is that it will end up looking like a giant marshmellow on your head. But your hat looks fabulous and extra warm too.
